First, I want to thank all of you for sharing your stories. Don Poss, I read your story a moment ago and you mentioned the 50,000+ men and 8 women that died. My aunt, Hedwig (Harriet) Orlowski was one of the 8 nurses that passed away in Vietnam. I am currently doing research on her life for a class of mine in college and for my own father's (her brother's) mental relief. I was wondering if any of you knew my aunt or had any stories about her that you would be willing to share with me. I really wish I knew more about her and what she did overseas. If you have any comments on anything in particular you remember and do not mind sharing them, I would be more than happy to hear them. I appreciate your service and your stories.
