Subject: Ginnie Kirsch

I would like to thank you for this story. It was one I was never told. You see as a boy (8 years old) I was in the Kirsch household. My father and Ginnie's father Max were good friends and golfing buddies. I noticed the picture on the wall of a pretty girl in what I thought was a nurses uniform and asked my dad who she was and he told me that it was Max and Norma's oldest daughter who had died in Vietnam.

Flash forward to Dec 28th, 2006. My wife, daughter, son and I are at the wall and I started to think if I knew of anyone who would be on it. I have known many veterans who were there and back but noone who stayed. Then I remembered the Kirsch's daughter. I didn't find her name and now I know why.

I never knew the whole story and I would like to thank you for your story.

Sincerely,
Scott Douglas
