I'm looking forward to your story and photos of the trip. I know what you mean by seeing O51 Bunker after all these years. Comparitively, it took me years to be able to go to The Wall in D.C., for all the usual reasons, and now I view that as one of the best things I've done.
I will never return to Vietnam...I just don't think I can do that. But recently, my niece went on a tour of Vietnam with her husband. She mailed me a small plastic container, with a note saying that it was soil from Da Nang. I have it sitting right here on my desktop next to the Three Warriors' small statue...and for some reason, I really like having it there.
