Subject: Christmas Card

Thank you for sharing your card. Thank goodness for mom’s who keep cards. I find it interesting in the midst of war the government felt it important enough to issue Christmas cards for the soldiers to send. I wonder if they still do that? I always wonder what it must have been like for the soldiers, already away from home during the holidays. It must have been hard, and it is nice to see you kept a sense of humor! Thank you so much for your service and sharing this part of your life.
