This has to be my favorite poem so far on this website. The most intriguing part of the enter thing is that it uses a multitude of vocabulary words that only someone in the military would know. It shows how real this was, it shows the poem was written for people similar to the author, and it shows that this wasn't written for an entertainment factor as much as telling a true story. There is nothing that hits closer to home in a piece of writing than being able to relate with the author, and i couldn't relate. But that only shows what the author sacrificed to create an accurate timeline of events, and that makes up for any loss of reader comprehension.
