Dear Mr. Lisenby,

I really enjoyed this poem. The image of you getting off the plane in Vietnam and seeing the vast landscape really put the image in my head. I could see the jungle ahead, and the rear exit of the plane. I really liked when you told me about when you got your first kill. You talked about how you felt bad about it, and you read your thoughts saying "he didn't deserve to die" really showing me how you felt.

Your poem was very nice to read, and changed my whole perception on the war. Thank You so much for your service.
