DCT,Did Neverland act like that and did he always attack things up until he died? This one has stopped attacking only the dog he still goes after, but only when the dog is tied at night to gaurd for the preditors, cayotes & stray dogs. But this dog will not hurt the peacock even though it is attacking it.(very good dog)Have raised all the dogs to get along with the chickens ,ducks, peafowl, cows ,what ever is on our little ranch.

Neverland was a hand raised pet. His behavior was unusual
for even an aggressive peacock. He was at least five years
old when he first flew at me with his spurs but I knew
that this would happen for a year before it did. But, NO,
he did NOT attack all the time and had not attacked me any
in his last days.
Midnight attacked me when he was only a year and a half old
and remains mean in his old age. He will be 19 years old in
August.
I show my hands, looking ready to grab, to bad peacocks.
This usually causes them to back off because they remember
having been grabbed
