In reply to: Jamie II 's message, "Sick peachick" on 05:15:11 09/08/08 Mon

It might be coccidiosis.
The medication for this is Sulmet.(which goes in drinking
water)
I use a medicated chick starter to prevent this.
The medication in this starter is Amprolium

The peachick seems fine now. Since its bad eye opened up, it has been able to eat well and the poos are normal. It doesn't sleep so much either.

So I don't know if the weird water-like poo was because of stress from it's initial struggle with the bad leg and bad eye or what.

I didn't give it medication or medicated starter feed, just apple cider vinegar in their water.

You wouldn't know there was ever a thing wrong with it now. Thanks
