Hi,
You probably already know that the only way to heaven is through Jesus. But a realization hit me the other day. Think of the worst sin of all kinds that could take place on this earth. God looked at his Son that way when he suffered on the cross. I guess you could say that God HATED his son when he saw all the horrible sins of the world upon him.
When you look around at the universe around you. Can you see God's beauty everywhere? John 3:16 it says that God loved the world so much that he gave his only son. God had one son who died for everyone in the world. Can you imagine being looked on in shame and disgrace by your father for commiting the worst sin in the world. I can't even imagine the ugliness that Jesus must have felt when he died for my sins. I have done some pretty bad things in my life but not bad enough for him to never forgive me. When you are called on to pray, ask God for the wisdom of words. My best friend is a Pastor's daughter also and she has a hard time when called upon to pray also because she has a stuttering problem and is very shy. But before she prays out loud she says a quick short prayer for wisdom and God delivers her always. Remember that God knows all your thoughts an actions even before you do or say them.
