Dear Sir:

I found your board about this Parks guy and I wanted to tell you a story about what happened to me. I am a mechanic with a garage here in New Jersey. Last winter, this guy Parks calls me and asks me if I would put in a engine that he bought in a car that he bought. Its what I do so I said sure. He said the car was two towns away but he was out of state. He said he would have the car towed to me.

So I get the car and he mails some money for the work becuse I wouldn�t do it for no money up front. Anayways, I get the money and then put the engine into this 71 Ford he had towed in. It wasn't in bad shape, the car, I was surpirsed the vinyl roof was still pretty good. So I finish the job. It took a lot of work because the engine was a 429cj and the car only had a 302. Then he calls me and says he mailed me more money and a vin plate. He wants me to put the vin plate on this car and throw the other one away.

So I said no. I mean you can go to jail for that in New Jersey and I told him that. He gets all mad and starts yelling at me over the phone. I had to hang up on him. Man, I swear a lot but he was really bad. He kept calling me back every five minutes. And yelling. I told him to get his car out of here and he accused me of ruining the car. About three days later, the mail arrives and sure enough he has a vin plate and some money or a check in there. I decided I would call the police because of this. So I did and then they looked at the vin plate and decoded it and it was for a police package car. Then I finally knew why he wanted that 429cj in there. So the police took the vin plate and they called him. He left me alone after that but a couple of days later another tow truck came and got the car.

Man, that guy was nuts
