Subject: *carries a chibi version of Alairic in on her back* Yes, I play the wonderous Alairic, as well... *rolls her eyes as Alairic yawns, falling asleep on her shoulder.*
In reply to: Fran 's message, "Believe me, he irritates me as well. Next time you see a specific instance of him breaking or bending the rules, please notify me and I will respond to it. Otherwise, there's nothing I can do about general complaints." on 08:03:58 03/08/02 Fri

Where in the rules does it say that Oddballs can not have more than one power? *archs a brow, trying not to wake Alairic from his nappy* Besides, if anyone would bother to read what I posted when I created my darling vampyre then they would know that he isn't just a vampyre... And if we wanted to get technical then we can also say that certain other chars can't exist because they can not have supernatural senses and strength or such... *frowns a bit, as Alairic stirs, mumbling something about kissing her.*

Last time I checked, the rules said this, and I quote:
"Please note: The rules on this page take precedence over any individual boards."
AND

"Mythicals can have powers. If you would like a power, go to the "request a power" board, and ask for one, but be respectful, your request may be denied. If it is denied, try to come up with another, more creative power you would like. Weather and healing are not permitted to be given out.
Under special circumstances, horses may have powers. Few horses have one, even fewer two, but no horse may have more than two powers. I believe Chase had three before this rule was instated, but he can have no more."

It says absolutely nothing about oddballs, let alone vampyres. And while we are on the subject of vampyres, you guys need to take a good look at the human section... there are A LOT of vampyres/slayers there who need to fall into the oddball section. Last time I checked, vamps weren't human and humans can NOT take out a vampyre.

As far as Alairic being "invinsible" vampyres are how you make them. There are legends of them being chased off by crosses and garlic... obviously this isn't always the case. Dracula is a welp compared to the vamps I know... In fact, Lestat is not the only vampyre character I know who has walked in the sunlight... There is a book based in Corpus Christi (sp?), TX that they walked around in daylight all the time, wearing sunglasses mind you, but they did. *wishes she could remember the title* Good book btw... Alairic has his fate... trust me, his day will come, but not until I'm ready to deal it to him, so he isn't as invincible as you people think. And Lestat could astral travel, fly, etc etc etc...

If you have a problem with the way my sweet guy is played then you need to update the rules page so they can be followed. Other than that, he has broken no rules... merely ruffled a lot of feathers. Obviously there have been many issues concering the rules... perhaps it is a hint?

Of the subject, Chase needs to be set free, Fran. I supplied the proof that Chase was successfully snuck from PI. And no one else's arguements against sneaks being in pictures seem to hold up to my own... *grins*
