>But nobody has ever claimed that you are so nobody

You point is? Claims and faith are irrelevant to truth. This is about truth, right?
>A large scale show of power would be in order.
As it would for your "god", but so far his display is unimpressive for some reason.
>Because nobody has faith in you as a god.
..who gives a damn about faith? The truth isn't effected by any faith. The world would *still* be round even if no one had faith that it was. The truth is the truth whether not people have 'faith' in it or not. You speak of faith like it's somehow relevant.
>That's just it, God has never claimed to be a devine
>being... or at least not for several thousand years.

God hasn't (a sign of his nonexistance), but many people (the religious) obviously DO make the claim on his behalf. Thus, the burden of proof does indeed fall with them.
>It's of no concern really. It's never been claimed
>that the fate of your immortal soul has anything to do
>with whether or not you believe in these things or
>not.
What? all the religions say that shit.

What if it possibly necessary suck a cock to get into heaven? WOuld you do it 'just in case' for precautionary insurance? What your suggesting isn't much more logical than that. Being a Muslim doesn't cost you anything, so why don't you convert so you don't possibly piss off allah? This is reality, not some sort of RPG.
>What a bunch of sheer luck that we have evolved from

No, there is no need to worship or pray to anything. It seems like it's a nesessity to do so. Some of us find no need to be down on our knees.
>I'm not sure whether it is scientific fact or

Yeah, energy... and your point? This energy isn't an imnipotent sentinent enity.
>Being an athiest has made you decidedly unreasonable.
>At least in this regard.
Are you saying that if somebody threw a stone into the air, and expected it to come back down, that would be unreasonable?
>It's all a personal choice, what do you feel, what do
>you not. Of course those that have them are tought
>them to start but a lot of times these mutate through

>many times not.
If people want to believe in gods to make them feel better, more power to them. Whatever gets them off.
>I'm beginning to think that the land is a large factor

Explain, step by step, how that works?
>It's the original escape into fantasy perhaps. When

>one very decisive way to prove, at least to yourself,
>whether there actually is a God or not.
Of course there is nothing wrong with indulging in a little fantasy... but it is *still* fantasy, and not reality.
