Jennifer had it in for Geoff after he supenoaed her to testify in Ralf's behalf involving that jail house snitch Roberts was going to try and use. She was barred from the trial for a few days, and she never forgave Geoff. Jennifer for most of the 18 months pretended to be mine and Ralf's friend and supporter. But quickly changed her tune. The Herald has deliberately taken statements out of context and misquoted facts, and in some cases fabricated so called facts. Most of the public takes what they read to be the truth but it is not always that way. I gave up trying to correct the story's. They did not want to hear the truth. I was standing right next to Geoff when he talked about the verdict and the jurors and I did not hear him call them Nazi's or creeps. Just because the Herald said he did in an interview does not make it true. They have lied and stretched the truth many times during this case. As for Geoff being upset, he has a right to be upset. He saw that Ralf was being railroaded and he could not stop it at the time. It was hard to see an innocent man found guilty because of the bias of the community that was caused by the press. It is so much more convienent for Ralf to be guily, it makes for a better story. Well this story is far from over. There will be a new trial, and Geoff will once again be Ralf's lawyer. But the new trial will be as far away from Sarasota as possible. Tonight I went out to eat with a friend, and set next to a table of 7 women who were discussing me and the case. Because of all the press most people here believe Ralf is guilty and have believed so since Nancy's death. I told the press the day of the verdict that I would be happy to give my views on the trial. So far no one has called me. Am I surprised? No I'm not, they don't want to hear what I have to say.
