The palmprint wasn't bloody, just close to the body. Like if you used one hand to brace yourself while you used the other to make footprints with a shoe. The time to test for blood would have been when the crime scene was new; it was never done. None of the fingerprints or palmprints were tested for blood. Geoff did bring this up in court, but obviously the jury did not find it important. Strange huh?
