I just want to say one thing before i start rambling. Thanx Madi that was what i`ve been trying to say for awhile but just couldn`t get it out. I don`t mind helping anyone. Actually if you ask the right people they`ll tell you how much i enjoy it. But...that doesn`t mean power leveling!!!! That means when you die and are in dire need of help. First thing to do when you die is try to recover yourself. You`ll feel really good if you succeed, it could just be a matter of being a little more tactful in your approach of the dungeon or monster that got you in the first place, and eventually you will become a better player for it. Next step ask for help from those around you most people would be more than happy to help if they can. If you don`t have any luck then call your patron he/she will have no problem getting to you as soon as possible. If your patron isn`t available then you call me. If I`m on-line I`ll be glad to come help you if i`m not on you can stop by the tower or the new spot and look for someone who can help you. Remember, you do have time to get your body.
As for the thieving and begging. I am not fond of either and it upsets me when i hear an otherwise good person asking for buffs from everyone at the tower. This is not helping you at all, you get exp everytime you cast a spell and it goes directly into that skill as well. If you are constantly being buffed by others you will not be using your own skills. This also goes for armor or weapons,
DON'T BEG FOR IT!!!!!!!!
If we have better armor or weapons for you we will most likely give it to you, if we have extra. If you need a special elemental weapon or something check the shops. You`d be amazed what people sell in places like GW or Qualabar or any town for that matter. If you don`t have any luck then check with your patron. Just don`t stand at the tower spamming people for them to give you stuff, it will more than likely just annoy them to the point of squelching you and that`s not good relations for any allegiance. Nobody is required to give you anything!!!! You may ask if there is something you need but don`t tell someone to give you things that includes your patron. Being polite goes a long way!!!! There is another thing as far as begging goes as well, don`t ask for quest items. Get them yourself the game is designed so that you will be able to get what you need when you are ready for it you don`t need it sooner than that. That doesn`t mean don`t ask others for help on a quest. But when it comes to things like GSA,Atlan weapons, composite bows or other things where you need to collect for a special item, don`t ask others to get it for you. There is no reason you can`t wait. I waited a long time to get my GSA and although i did have help that help was offered not begged for. I would go into a big speech about how it was when i started playing AC there was no begging because nobody had anything. I wore studded leather until level 10 how many of you can say that? That`s when i upgraded to chainmail. You need to learn the game and if you are constantly being given items it`s taking something away from you. Trust me you will apreciate it more if you work for it, and you will become a better player.
As for thieves. NO THIEVES!!!!! No Exceptions!!!!If I find out you have stolen you will be released. I am not going to let you ruin this allegiance`s good name. You must keep in mind that there is no challenge in stealing. You can`t be caught and arrested, you can only be hated. And I hate thieves. I consider them the biggest cowards in the game, people that are afraid to go get stuff for themselves.I mean really where is the challenge in picking something up that someone was muling and then logging off.
If you want to steal go to Darktide where you can be punished for it, make it a skill not a way to ruin another persons fun or hard work.
Finally(because i`m falling asleep),lets be the family we`ve tried so hard to be. And take pride in knowing that we are one of the best allegiances on Morningthaw. Not for our numbers but for our reputation as being the good guys. We are there when we are needed for one another and for anyone else who`s in trouble. I want each and every one of you to know the feeling of being a hero. It makes you feel pretty good about yourself when you help someone in there moment of need. It sure works for me. And you`ll make a lot more friends that way. Look at all the friends I`ve made with that simple belief. You are all my friends, and you make me proud, lets keep up the good work.
Be Safe,
Torlyn Razzier
