"so. i vote for the newcomer as well.. jaidah, right? president or leader, it matters not which, but she doesn't have the grudges we have. perhaps she doesn't have the experience i or makare have--yes, kailia, i claim seniority over makare; i preceeded her, preceeded everyone by a long shot--or the familiarity that nan'daha does, but none of us has perfect qualifications. so, we can train her.." she mused, thinking aloud, not bothering to respond to the petty insults in either makare or kailia's words. she looks to kailia and makare, judging their response. "it's either that or elect one of us. we can't function without a leader, and it'll either be me, since I have nan'daha's vote, or whichever of you two," she continued, indicating kailia and makare, "that decides to run. more likely a stalemate, and more time wasted." ¤
