Our technicians have different minds then the Federation slime. While they are governed by greed, conquest, and power, we are sensible and are driven by the need for freedom. While it is true that we cannot fix all the flaws, we may see something they didn't, and since we are only attempting to liberate from the Federation, and they are trying to make us join them or destroy us, we are more in need of powerful shields than guns.
