Ta'Vaari Hall

Ta'Vaari Hall is a large, old-style building. It is built as a rectangular building, dug into the side of the hill. Jail cells in the back, offices in the upper levels, main facilities in the front and the upper levels. Outbuildings, similar in structure to the Hall surround, a shield fence protecting the establishment.

The Barracks

The quiet murmur of conversation finally breaks the serious and slightly apprehensive silence that had settled over the room.
After a moment, Raven's voice joins the hushed buzz in a brief note of clarification.
"Niamh, Fyre and Tunikare are going, everyone else is staying here."
Cat-like gaze flits to Juli and Yungutac, brows raising somewhat to gain their attention. If they hadn't heard it yet.. that phrase was specifically for them. Slitted pupils returning to those three going on the mission, she folds her fingers elegantly and continues.

"I agree, you will need new identities, and disguises for those of you who may be recognized. I can transport you to the Station, but I'll need a timeline. A couple days..weeks.. your decision. I can get each of you a transmitter. If you are in trouble, we can extract you in less than an half an hour. Don't use it unless you have no choice whatsoever,otherwise, we'll stick to the agreed time. Information... whatever you can get. Anything about their condition, who is who, how many. Although we know there must be a new president, we don't know who it is. Try to find out where they are weak... use your own judgement. "

She leans back at Raven's question, raising an eyebrow. "I was somewhere. And as for a pilot to ferry our people... I can do it." She leans forward again, resting her forearms on the table, glancing at Tukinare.

Scribbling down the last of the names and ranks, she allows a sufficient period of time for an answer to Tsunami's question then speaks herself.
"Well. It seems we have a good assortment. Three spies, three rouges and five pilots."
Her cool, slitted gaze flicks to Yungutac, tone holding a tinge of impatience as she speaks to the man.
"Most of the people in this room could do any number of jobs, but are especially good at one or two of them. You said fighter pilot first. I'll assume that you consider your skills best used in that particular task."
She returns her attention to the entire table, gaze turning first to Tsunami then to the others, connecting the faces to their tasks in mental note.
"As I'm sure Tsunami will agree, the spies should be the first to head out to Venhydra. The Federation will undoubtably be doing likewise and we need information on their status before any plans we make can go into effect. On that note, those of us left here should be aware that there may be spies milling about. Watch what you say."
Clearing her throat quietly, she takes a sip of the provided water and continues.
"For those of you only just arrived, why don't we have a recap. Some months ago, the Alliance president Myra was murdered.. a Fed assassin somehow managed to find their way through our shields.. at the same time a number of Alliance fighters were imprisoned by the Feds and taken to Venhydra. They were rescued and taken back to Tanari where Tsunami was voted president and we were promptly bombed. The hall was destroyed.. leaving only those few of us who were in the basement. Needless to say, this was a devastating event for the Alliance. A brief skirmish followed that and then the Feds dissapeared."
She pauses for effect, the parched state of her dusty throat all to evident as she goes on.
"At this moment we have no idea what happened. It is my opinion that the remaining active Feds deserted.. or laid a trap. By then our own numbers had shrunken uncomfortably low and we decided to take advantage of the situation and take over the Venhydra complex while it seemed vacated... We were there for a few weeks.. perhaps even a month before the Feds miraculously reappeared and attacked. Tsunami was captured and we were outnumbered. Thankfully our luck was with us and we most of us managed to get out of the fray, rescue Tsunami and return here with a prisoner..."

The loud rumbling of an approaching ATV becomes steadily more clear and louder, the noise clearly that of a rather late comer. The engine cuts off abruptly as the driver finds a place to park. The door to the inside of the hall opens slowly, and Toireasa pops her head in, her azure eyes quite uncertain. She was viciously upset with herself... never before had she been so late. She was usually very punctual.

She sighs slightly, and shuffles fully into the hall, her head bowed and herhands clasped behind her back. She looks for Raven and the rest, her eyes the only part of her body not concentrated downwards. She scuffs one foot lightly, and almost child like innocent gesture.

"Sorry I'm so late," she says, her voice muffled. "Got caught up on the way, my ATV broke down. I'm really terribly sorry."

Cat-like gaze follows the last figures entering the room, dismissing Toireasa's sheepish apology with a careless wave of her hand.
"Don't apologize. We were just getting started..Sit." she gestures to one of the unoccupied seats and straightens in her own. Verdant irisis dart quickly around the table in a mental count, pausing at the few faces she did not recognize.
"Before we begin, let's have names and fighting classes. It would be nice to know what we have to work with."
She blows absently at a few stubborn strands of hair, glancing about at the impatient gathering.
"I am Raven. Rouge, fighter pilot."
Her gaze flicks across the table, waiting for the next person to speak. This was not her kind of work. Dealing with people on the field, and in casual situations suited her fine, but meetings; buisness.. it was not to her taste although she could and often had to tolerate it. A blunt pain suddenly spasms up her hand and she glances down abruptly in suprise at her reddened fingertips. Enough drumming on the armrest. Supressing a sigh, she forces her impatient hands into her lap and resigns herself to the tedious task of listening...

She steps quietly into the circular chamber, blinking rapidly as Tsunami flicks on the bright overhead lights; the armored door closing suddenly with a 'whoosh' behind her. Already the improvments to the building were obvious. The previous hall, now lying in piles of contorted metal, had been drab and outdated in comparison to the new building. Of course the hall's lackluster predecessor had been the first built on Tanari.. almost twenty five years ago.
Sliding smoothly into an unoccupied seat, she glances across the broad expanse of table twoard the others drumming her fingers restlessly, though silently, upon the polished armrests..

Basking in the reddish glow of the setting Sol, the new Hall glints in the fading light as the twin moons hover in anticipation upon the horizon. Toughened, weary workers move leisurely about, joking quietly among themselves as they dismantle the scaffolding, and collect their equiptment. The twisted ruins of the previous structure had been cleared away, either to be used in future buildings or to be sold to the next trade ship. As the light fades, so do the workers, most drifting off twoard the colony square; a few remaining to touch up interior features. The lights flicker on inside the building as dusk falls, the new, stronger exterior shields flickering on and off as an engineer tests the systems. A group of guards steps from the building, murmuring quietly as they take their protective positions around the Hall for the night...

� Soles of worn leather boots fall to earth with soft, almost silent footfalls, petite form of young pilot slowly materializing from the darkness of night. She had left the Spaceport much later than the others, having found the temptation of studying the Federation vessal to much to resist. She was late..and she knew it..but the thought that this might annoy the others did not bother her in the least, for she was in far to good a mood to be put down by the aggrevation of someone else. And besides..she was not exactly known for her punctuality. �

� Approaching the Hall entoxicating emeralds scan the bare skeleton formed from the recent construction, a single brow raised slightly at the sight of it. But shrugging non-chalantly to herself she picks her way through the rubble, moving over to where the others now sat. Idly running a hand through strawberry-blonde locks she studies the faces of those gathered around the softly glowing fire, throwing a nod and welcoming smile to the newcomers. �

"Ah..new recruits! Welcome to the Alliance. Glad to see some new faces!"

� She does not take a seat just yet, adrenaline pumping through her veins from the recent flight, making it currently impossible to settle down. Some people got a rush from fighting...she got a rush from flying. �

� A side-ways glance is sent to Raven and Tsunami, a faint nod given to them. �

"Sorry I took so longer gettin' here. Got a bit caught up at the 'port."

(-cringe- I hate school.. I really, really hate school. -Mutters darkly- I swear it..teachers and parents are plotting against us to make sure we never have time on the computer! If it isn't homework it's being grounded or it's they want the computer... -Sigh- Sorry about not being active recently. As my previous words have most likely given you all an idea as to why I have not been on..I won't bother explaining. I won't subject you to my bad mood any longer, so I'll shut-up now. -Small smirk-)

Peering out through the dim morning light, she catches the slight movement of flame and steps briskly forward through the debris twoard the campfire.
Clean skin, clean clothes, clean bandages... she sinks silently onto a piece of twisted metal, refreshed, glancing quickly about the fire before settling upon Tsunami as she speaks.
"There may be something in the Infirmiry... they usually have a secure room in there for unstable patients."
Her gaze flicks questioningly to Fyre and Ajsyat.
"Who is he? If he wasn't killed, I must assume he did not defend himself, or did so feebly... maybe he can be sent to work with some of the outland colonists."
(ooc: Well I suppose she should have stuck around the barracks longer but I can't stand just doing nothing while Raven sleeps..so she has showered, slept and returned.. ta-da!... besides, Tsunami..you look so lonely ;o) )

As it comes to her, she nods. "Oh, yes, him." (Speaking of that Fed on the ship.) "Well, he was young, probably doesn't have too much information, but simply killing him would be sinking to the level of the Federation. No, let's bring him in from the ship and...er...do we have anything ready yet that's suitable for a detention room?"

Drawing herself up into a crouch, she glances about at the others who had curiously fallen silent. She sighs, standing slowly, so as to avoid dizziness and steps wearily out of the firelit circle just as Niamh sets another log upon the pile with a shower of sparks. Sleeping on the cold ground, surrounded by the noise of construction was not her idea of comfort, at least not when a perfectly inviting bed lay waiting at the barracks. Yet she hesitates, slender brows knitting together as she glances momentarily in silent thought over her dusty shoulder. Clambering once more onto an ATV, she starts the vehicle, driving it as carefully as possible around the construction site and twoards the barracks for a shower and at least a couple hours of much needed sleep..
(ooc: hellooo? Tsunami? Ajsyat? Fyre?... Carter---gone again already? I despise your computor. And Ajsyat's school system... *grumble*)

*She sits on a pile of rocks, watching the others sleep. Feeling curious anticipation for what would happen next, she stands quietly, and walks a few steps away from the fire, leaning against a twisted girder. Her eyes scan the area around the camp, and she unconciously pulls her thick cloak about herself, one hand resting on the handle of her weapon. Chafing slightly at being in a situation she could not control, she wonders what was going to happen when the others woke up. She scrounges somemore fuel for the fire, and places it on the dying flames, watching them grow quickly and throw a few sparks*

The rumble of an approaching ATV, muffled by the chaotic sounds of construction, signals the arrival of the small vehicle as it grinds to a stop outside the field of debris, followed stealthily by a small cloud of grainy dust. The driver sighs and clambers off, glancing over the frame of the new hall before moving twoard the small group of people outlined against the dusky grey sky.
How was it that she ended up doing all Tsunami's dirty work?..
The thought bounces sourly through her already aching head as she steps under the racks of scaffolding, attempting to think up a simple, efficient, but most particularly, quick way to explain the recent events and the tardiness of their president....

Another page, another text. Line after line of redundant blather, crumpled into a context fit for a 'king', or rather, a fed. Personel Databases, Weapons Manifests -- anything and everything down to the dimensions of the rivets used in construction of their fighters.

"Damn feds..." he retorts at the endless barrage of information. "The victims of the battle, and still arrogant as hell! Huh. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

A muffled note of laughter catches in his throat at the clearly sarcastic comment. It was true, though, that they had counted on their non-exisant wits and unhealthy self confidence to overcome the disputes. Although they held themselves in such high regards, it had still been easy enough to snatch the pad from the federation headquarters and disappear unnoticed into his quite noticable shuttle launched in clear view of the vessels that patrolled in orbit of the paradise planet.

He fumbles the tiny lamp that juts out from his contorted smirk. The soft, ominous glow leaps from the screen, throwing him, and the pad, into darkness. The night was graced with only one, hazy moon. The stars were hidden behind the thick, heavy fog. He pockets the small screen reluctantly, instinctively clutching the butt of his gun as he starts off towards the skeletal framework of the Hall. Anyone else might not have given up so easily. But until he could find some alternative light source, he was still human, with only two eyes and limited vision.

"How's it coming?" he bellows to one random worker gawking stubbornly at a large metal beam. He flips his pistol expertly into its holster, ducking under a grate and towards the opposite edge of the construction where a small accumulation of debris lay scattered along the brush. Another glance to the workers, chipping away at the task in the middle of the night. One thing was for sure, the rebels were much better off than the feds in the first place. Stubborness had always been on their side.

[OOC: Alright, more computer problems. We had to wipe the hardrive recently, and since then, things have become a little more difficult for me (in terms of role playing), what of the endless hours my parents spend "rebuilding" the system. Sure, it's for the good of us all. Ha.

Anyways, I'll try to be more active in the next while. But can someone please fill me in? Did the rebel's escape? Or are they still caught in the clutches of the feds? I posted here because it looks as if we're making a new start, and things have seemed to settle down a little over at Venhydra. Oh and... Raven? You still here?]

Toireasa watches the newcomers with little interest. There were many, many more than she ever thought would even want to allie themselves with the rebels. Her blue eyes watch as the nuetrals rebuild the hall, anxious now that there really would be a place to meet. Toireasa stands and walks to where she believes the president and the rescuers will make their re-entrance. She shades her eyes against the harsh light of the noon sun and waits anxiously.

A pair of travellers enter the ruins of Ta'Vaari Hall, one male and one female. The male is supporting himself on the female's shoulder as if wounded and unable to walk.

He surveys the bomb crater at the center of the what used to be the Hall, his eyes passing along the lines of rubble and twisted metal support beams extending out from it. A harsh wind filled with blown dust sweeps over the ruins and the male traveller comments "Just like home..."

"Please... help me..." she whispers weakly, blood seeping from a wound in her side. The girl from the Spaceport. Fear drives her to her feet, and puts strength in her voice, "Please, some people are coming after me... distract them, please, make them think I've gone to the Spaceport. If they were just Alliance I wouldn't ask you, but one is a Dark Jedi... please, help me..." She hears distant footsteps, and ducks out of a hole in the wall where a window used to be, then disappears into the night.

In the center was a five point star, the top point faceing to the skys. A small moon stone rested in the center of the star. It was a symbol of the old world. Amberile toyed with the small dagger around her left wrist. The glisten of a small knife could be seen at the topp of her right boot.* "Hello? Is there anyone alive out there." *She called, praying for a reply. She waited and listened. letting her cape wipe around her in the wind.*

She bends down and picks up a piece of the hall wall, looking at it almost painfully. Slowly she let it drop, and looks around some more. Upon further inspection, she finds half a table and sits down upon it. The rubble shifts a little under the sudden weight, but she doesn't seem to care, she just looks down dispassionately. She looks up, the hot air pushing a few loose strands of hair around her face. She waits patiently for the return of the members of the alliance.::

Just so you know, the Hall is actually nonexistant, it was destroyed by a Fed attack a few months ago and now is only rubble. One reason the Rebles left for Venhydra..
However,the Barracks, Infirmiry, and Square are intact.

�� Boots click against the tiled floor as the young woman enters the hall, ice blue eyes flashing over the room quickly. Expression is neutral save for a very faint, wry smirk that tugged at full, coral lips. Having made a brief detour to the Barracks to drop off her bag after arriving on the desolate planet she then pushes the door slowly closed behind her. A quick toss of her head send short blonde locks back away from her eyes. Cool gaze soon comes to rest on the man nearby, looking him overly calmly. A curt nod of her head is the only greeting she offers, not one known for her friendly 'Hellos'. Turning away slightly she steps slowly across the room, calculating gaze taking everything in. ��

�� The green outfit she wore fit her slim, curvy figure perfectly, flattering her attractive figure, the zipped front zipped low, though revealing only a little of what surely was hidden under the clothing.. It was a uniform of some kind, but there was no badges or anything of such sort to reveal just what kind of uniform it was. ��

Any members of the Alliance who wish, should report to Venhydra. Due to the sudden absence of any and all members of the Federation and the unfortunate destruction of the Tanari hall, the Alliance has moved to take over Venhydra.
Two shuttles will be kept in the spaceport for your use.

With that, she turns, heading twoard the Infirmiry.

Hearing the return of Tsunami, she emerges from the depths of the hall, carrying a large gun.
She slings it over her shoulder, blinking in the sunlight as her pupils retract then walking over to the president.
"Welcome back. Sammy found a girl, presumably lost, looking for a Fed planet. She is in custody and should be gently questioned soon." her eyes flick to the direction of the Square and back to Tsunami.
"They should be getting to the square soon.. the girl is young, probably around eleven or so.. but apparantly she arrived flying her own ship which I told them to confiscate(sp?) until further notice"
She shrugs.
"I have no idea where this kid came from or why she is even here. If she was a spy, she certainly wouldn't admit to be looking for a Fed planet.. anyway.. that's the scoop."
Shifting the gun strap on her shoulder, she searches her brain for any other changes recently.
"Oh yes," she says, shooting a rather icy glance at her,"I found Carter and took him to the Infirmiry. He had massive hemmoraging from a rather nasty head wound a broken arm and possibly internal bleeding. He is still unconcious, but from what I gathered earlier, he had drifted off looking for a possible stretcher to get you out and passed out from loss of blood..."
She stops and looks at Tsunami expectantly.
"He is the most seriously hurt of us all, but the first thing he asked about was if the you and the others were ok. If you truly think he is a spy.. speak now or forever hold your peace"
Smirking slightly, she raises her eyebrows, arms crossed, still expectant. She had not forgotten the accusations cast upon him..

The humm of an ATV approaches the wreakage of the Hall, and soon the vehicle itself comes into view, a woman astride it.
She pulls suddenly to a halt near the others, sending a cloud of orange dust out behind the vehicle.
Cat-eyes survey the scene, pupils contracted to slits in the desert sun. The last few words of the girl's sentence reach her ears and she turns her cool gaze to Sasami, cocking an eyebrow in question.
"Nothing like being blunt," her eyes flicker to the girl, giving her a swift glance then returning to Sammy for explanation, "What did she do?"

*His eyes flicker open involentary, adjusting to the dim surroundings of his immediate location. His pupils adjusting to the utter darkness, he breathes heavily, uncertain of where he is, of the pain that pulses in sharp waves throughout his body. The Hall... He was still in the Hall. He raises his head instinctively, forcing his arms behind him to support himself, releasing a sudden groan of pain as he recalls the bombing.. Tsunami.. He had left to locate something-- anything to pry the table off of her. His mind runs blank, his eyes squinting remorsefully as he struggles to remember the rest.. Where was she now..? Where was Raven?*

*He pulls himself carefully to his feet, his hand instinctively raising to touch the blood-lathered cloth wound loosely about his brow. A sudden wave of pain streams throughout his body, a low grunt escaping his throat as he swallows hard. If he could barely make it out of the room without collapsing, how far would he be able to make it now..? He wades forcefully through the sea of debris which stretches ahead him, his determined avail carrying him into a dim hallway, the lights flickering maimedly, fading, then dying, only to return and repeat the sickening process once more. "Raven.." He calls hoarsely, searching the immediate area carefully for any sign of the woman. Closing his eyes momentarily, he staggers blindly through a maze of hallways and low crawlspaces, until finally a thin stream of dust-clouded sunlight heats his blood-stained face. Catching the frail edge of a plate of sheet-metal, he pulls himself upward, pawing through the mess of debris and pulling himself through the tight opening.

"Raven..!" He calls once more, squinting at the peircing light of the sun..

(Considering our new "rules", the bombing would have been powerplaying, unrealism, and against the 'two-bomb-a-

You who made the command of treatment for POWs have been charged with a human rights violation for the gross mistreatment of Private Jason(Viper)Sutton when made POW.List of injuries are: major wounds,severe lasserations from a rope,large brusies,trauma,major loss of blood, inadeqaute housing,malnutrition,major dehydration,physical deprival of movement,mental deprival due to lack of movement and constant restraint,heatstroke from lack of proper cover upon a desert planet.I was appallued by your lack of attention to the rules of the Geneva Convention which was eventually signed by all nations of Earth,which makes you bound to agknowledge these set of rules on the proper treatmeant and care of POWs,I sencerly hope you re-evaluate your choice of handleing POWs in the near future.I also strongly urge you to attend the meeting within a temporary truce to establish common ground for the rules of war.

Is Morgan (meridian?) around to sort this out? I think we need a little organization instead of a free-for-all which is basically what we have been doing.

Raven will proabably be staying pretty much out of the war until things become less chaotic. It is just hard to understand who is allowed to do what, who got shot...etc.
Also, the regulars (characters who were here in the beginning and before most of your started to arrive) seem to have dissapeared.

To whom it may concern,

The council of the Federation wishes to meet with the Head subourdinates of the Alliance in a meeting of temporary peace. We wish to discuss a means of orginization. . .a. . .Rules Of War. We wish to discuss our plans of the future for both sides of this continent. We will meet in The Station, no weapons, no guards. The two highest members of both Governments shall meet to discuss the issues at hand which indeed need to be discussed. We will wait for your reply in letter form in agreement to this meeting. . .
