I, like Craven, believe that having morons around should spur you on to improve yourself. However, having said that, there is a time and a place for it all. And, as Lance rightly points out, if it's a bannable offence then they should not be doing it.

Although "bank sitters" are just as annoying as looters and lurers... they are not breaking the terms and conditions of the game. There's plenty of other banks you can go to and avoid the circus that is West Britain Bank. For example, how many sitters do you see at East Britain Bank? I've not seen bank sitters there before, yet it is in the same town....

"Trams" as they are called are perhaps they way they are because that's the way they like the game - calling them names to provoke some reaction isn't something to be encouraged. I like both the freedom to roam that you get in Trammel, and the edge you get from roaming in Felucca. Some don't like it. That's their perogotive.

Trammel was created as a haven of sorts... and those pathetic morons that hunted carpenters and miners back in the old days before the split were suddenly faced with their easy targets going elsewhere and the only people left were those that were prepared to fight. Oh what a tale of woe.... fancy having to fight someone who could fight back?

Some of those that fell into the category above made the move to Trammel as well, and continued to torment and harass those that would not (and now could not) fight them. I believe that it is these sorts that JC was talking about, and those that are of a similar nature that began playing after the split.


So, in summary:

Sitting at the bank is not a bannable offence - luring and griefing is.

It's all freedom of choice. But keep those choices to what is allowed in the terms and conditions of play.
