Subject: TDR Real Estate Proposal - please read - feedback required

Hail Members,

My interest in UO Real Estate has been piqued with my recent explorations into acquiring a guild castle.

I decided last night to have a look around and see just how bad the housing situation in UO is. I was surprised after about 15 - 30 minutes wandering around the forests aimlessly running from spawn and looking at the geography, I found a location which will seem to accept a small house. Obviously ther eis a market for any housing, so I would like to put up the following proposal for the guild.

Establishment of TDR Realty

Purpose

To acquire an inventory of house to:

a. Help new guild members find a place to live
b. Raise the profile of TDR to encourage new members
c. A source of guild funds as investment properties for resale
d. Temporary storage for members in-transit/relocating
e. Possible assistance with house upgrades to larger premises
f. Possible vendor locations
g. Use for specific guild events

Requirements

To achieve this aim, we require the following:

1. Guild members who have accounts with no house owners to 'hold' houses we acquire. I would like at least 5

2. Members with a keen eye for new housing locations, IDOC's or bargain sales.


To achieve requirement 1, I would like anyone with accounts available to 'hold' houses to contact me and let me know. Note you cannot currently own a house on that account, or it will become condemned when you are given the new house.

To achieve requirement 2, I would simply ask that on your travels, you simply keep an eye out for likely locations for house placement, send anyone you see selling a house my way, or check existing houses for sale signs or their condition if they may be condemned.

I still have some research to do before I have my real-estate vendors license :) But am getting a feel for the situation already. For those willing to help, I will conduct a housing awareness seminar and tour in the near future if there is positive feedback.

For now, I just need 1 person with an available account so I can place a new house before the spot is taken, and we can decide from there what to do.
