Well, I must say from my position I did not see a lot of the battle. Myadvantage spot on the ramparts, which would have been great for fighting warriors, did not look like such an advantage when a crowd of mages showed up :)

I was amazed at how good BMG's co-ordination was. They seemed to all immediately target the same person, so they either have great communication, or some kind of pre-arranged way of deciding which target to take down.

The only time I managed to get any real shots in was on the bridge beside Mordrid, to his detriment unfortunately as I kept hiding so they chose him.

It was very hard for me to send a continuous barrage on anyone, as they were moving so quick in and out of range, I couldn't keep target lock, I'd have had to followed. Which in hindsite maybe I should have, as I died without a real fight anyway.

Also, people did not seem to be staying in their death robes, so I couldn't tell who was still in and who was out of battle.

As my battle was mostly solo (sorry Jarek), I can't comment too much on how the rest of the team went. I did notice a group of NW below Mordrid and I who seemed to be doing a good job of holding the offenders off, but they were eventually overrrun. If we'd had some of you spear guys out there hitting those mages, it may have stirred em up a bit, but we were fighting defensively, and they seemed to have free reign to attack who they wanted.

Overall, we will always be at a slight offensive disadvantage due to not many of us being cable guys, but experience was our real killer. So I guess it's time for practice, practice, practice.

I suggest we try some team play. Maybe 3 on 3, or even 4 on 2, (eg) red & blue teams. We decide an a time and place, set a mini objective to attack/defend a certain area (eg - the bakers shop :] ), acquire a certain objective (eg go buy all the regs from the mage shop before the other team - most regs wins :) ] etc and the 2 teams see how they go against each other.

Something more than just 1 on 1, as I don't think there will be many ORPA events of this nature. Sure we need to know how to battle 1 on 1 for a start, but we need to mix it up. Besides, it'll be more fun :)

OK, enough waffle from me for now.
