Received your letter sent from Paris. AP stands for Atypical Pneumonia (非典型肺炎) SARS is a short form for Severe 嚴重Acute 緊急 Respiratory 呼吸System系統. As the spelling of SARS looks quite similar to SAR Government so there is a joke in town that the HK Govt takes away R from SARS so it become SAS. SAS in medical term standing for Slow Action Sympton (a radio DJ called it as慢九拍症 just like our Govt. Everyone in HK feel like to have a new head for our govt. Don't you?
