Subject: Dissertation's topic

Leo: I have told Dad that the topic of your chosen dissertation is Safety for High Rise building in HK. Have you thought about another good topic - the Sewage system for High Rise Building in HK. As you know what caused the outbreak of SARS at Amoy Gardens ²^¤jªá¶é is the sewage system. They are either bad in design or lack of maintainence. Most old buildings like the govt. public housing area like Kau Tau Kwok ¤ûÀY¨¤ which faces demolition soon and Housing Authority would not spend money on them. As we learn the lesson from this SARS cases, the architects in future should think to improve this. As there are many old building need maintenance on their sewage system, it may be a good topic to write and you may need it as your future career too. Think about it.
