I am an artist. I thought that I was the only twisted individual out here with the tenacity to do such art. Yet I must admit that it does seem to bother me from time to time. There is a level of sexual excitement that comes from seeing a super powered woman under complete control. Yet these fantasies often reflect something a little more deeper. Yes we clammour to the beautiful buxom heroine in distress, yet from my own intnerpersonal retrospective, I have found that the female within the storyline is a devout inner reflection of our inner selves. There are times in society where we are made to feel helpless or are raped of human integrity. I have found that our minds often take these emotions and put them in a more amusing or entertaining light. It is a strange and funky kind of way I cope with the emotionally violent world around me. I created a character when I was in high school similar to wonder woman. Only problem was she never won a fight, and was more than often beaten to smithereens and sexually violated publically. Sounds like good grounds for either a comic book or a desperate cry for therapy. Yet this was my way of dealing with the often times insensitive females I was attracted to, Coupled with the never winning situation of helplessness a child feels from an overbearing father, I feel led to the creation of this character. I was shocked to find, after much soul searching that the character was actually the female representation of myself.Pretty freaky, huh? Yes It began to bother me that she never won. That is often how society makes us feel. Although I indeed view myself as a winner, inwardly I really felt helpless to the situations around me, much like the heroines in my stories. Yes, yes, yes, yes, people do find the excitement of role playing in the super hero genre stimulating, I feel that helps to fulfill an inner need. As long as such comics and situations can be kept in fantasy, or at the very least on the level of sexual foreplay, there really isn't much harm to them. In the mean time I feel that Art is the total and unrestricted expression of an individual soul. I appaud all expressions, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Keep up the good work. Your expressions come from the iniquity of your vivd and digitized 3-d imagination!!!!! They are theraputic, and help to feed the need.

Sincerely.
Mr. C.T. Cobb
