GTO and Firebird
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new GTO does look nice, But I feel that it resembles the Grand Prix, Grand Am and the Boniville to much. I thin that it was a mistake to discontinue the Firebird. I thought that it was a decent selling sports car, but if you do bring back the Firebird it should rear weel drive with a V8.

When GM first decided to bring GTO back in the form of a Australia based two seater I couldn't wait to see the final results. Well I think the struck out. Engine, trans, and rear wheel drive check. Style? What happen to the style. The Australian car just seems to have a better look to it then what we have chopped off of it. I guess I can't see passed my WS6. This new car just seems to be missing something. Keep trying. Your on the right track, at least with the drivetran.

its missing duel exhuast, a ram air hood a hood tach and an agressive look, it looks like a grand am coupe. i wish instead of just slapping on the badges and changing the front facia and swaping the interior they would of also reskinned it just a bit and put on more convential rear lights and panels on it. Id still buy it but I wish it looked for GTO. But I agree there is nothing like a WS6.

I can't believe they're calling that thing a GTO. There is nothing GTO about it. Ford is on the right track! Look at their cars they're bringing back. They still have that rough sexy look, but with new technology. Soltice looks cool, but the GTO looks like a freakin' family car.

Bring back the retro and power; then Pontiac will have a winner.

Quarnelius Williams

Please bring back the Firebird trans am WS6 Ram Air
please stop making those 200 horsepower V6's cars.

i have a 98 WS6 and it is the best car ever. then i heaed the gto was coming and i was ready to trade my car in to get the new gto. once i saw the car i really thought it was a grand am. then i realized that pontiac really needs to think before they act. i would have waited longer for a better car.
