Interesting post ..

Agreed there are 'knuckle draggers' around wherever you live, and YEAH WE SHOULD BE FRIENDS! Well said!!

May I ask though .. which "400hp Impalas" in Saudi Arabia are you referring to? Any details would be much appreciated. New factory-original 402hp Commodores & Monaros are available here, but when was the last time equally rated Impalas were sold? Not for thirty years, and those were overweight, and over-rated (the old SAE system). Aren't the RWD GM passenger cars on sale in the Middle East actually Holdens, rebadged as Chevrolet Lumina & Caprice? Weren't RWD Imapalas discontinued in the mid-90's and are now, like ALL current Pontiac products now that the F-body is dead, mere low-powered FWD units .. exclusively?

2nd:
Apparently the relocation of the fuel tank of GTO has little to do with actual crash safety. These cars are not Pintos. You may not be aware the current-shape '98-on Commodore sedan (and wagon?) was then originally considered (and planned) by GM to be exported to the US as Buicks. However this was decided against quite late in the day. The fuel tank location wasn't an issue then, but since those times GM made an edict that no future vehicles for sale in North America would use a tank located behind the rear axle line. This edict had little to do with actual safety concerns, rather with American LAWYER CONCERNS, and is expressly to do with the highly litigeous environment uniquely pervading in the US. So it's not that, as you claim "See in THIS country we still have the balls to control our government" .. rather that your country has lost control and reason over its lawyers and some of your legal system. Surely you're not one of those bizzare legalist supporters who, when you buy a hot cup of coffee, require and demand a warning sign on the container saying 'Caution - Contents may be HOT'?

3rd:
It's usually considered unwise to proffer comment on either religion or politics, especially of other nations. However as you have initiated the breaking of this precept I feel entitled to do likewise. That America, among the Western World, is one of the most fanatically religious cultures yet also endures one of the highest murder rates is a curious juxtaposition, to say the least. It's fascinating to compare the staggering murder rates in Northern American cities to those just over the border in gun-controlled Canada, for example. Considering your country entitles virtually every moron to carry one or more guns ranging up to machine pistols and more is no plus as I see it. Rather it is a ludicrous and frightening situation and a way of life we want no part of, thanks very much. The removal of guns from Australian society was one of the best things to ever happen here. Although it has always been so, Australia is now an even safer place in which to live - much more so than your gun-infested Utopian firing range.

ps: Ostrich originate from Africa .. think emu
