Subject: 1996 Firebird.....driving lights?????

I just got a 1996 Firebird and wanted to install some driving lights on it where there are now what seem to be blanks in the front end. After checking with the dealer to see if there is a kit to do this, I was told there is and they cost $154.00 each. Just wanted to see if there is somewhere else to go for these or should I just put a "off the shelf" version in. Anyone done this before? What I do I have to do to get into it? from below I would think. Thanks for any help. Bill
