Subject: 1995 Firebird

Ok, I have found a nice 1995 Firebird (3.4) V-6 for my wife. It has 65000 original one owner miles on it and is in great cosmetic condition. The car runs good and has no noticeable problems. It doesn't have t-tops but has the 10-speaker stereo and fully loaded and everything works. The owner has all receipts and original book and window sticker. How is this car for reliability?? The light motors have been changed out by GM already and the belt and idler, tires, rear shocks and front rotors and pads are racing ones (taken from the husband's Trans Am LT1) What is the gas mileage on this kind of car. I am paying $4500 for it and I am wondering if this is a good buy?? I have been dealing mostly with Fords in the past but have a passion for Firebirds but never owned one. What to look out for??? I am a real good mechanic so the coil pack problem would be no big deal if it goes bad and not the ignition switch either. Is the EGR passages easy to get to and clean out?? How do I do this??
Please get back with me.

Regards,
Dan
