Subject: The difference between Trans Ams and Formulas

I have recently been looking to buy a newer Firebird (98'-02'). I have seen a few Firebird Formulas and found one for a good price. However, I found that The formulas are less in value, even though they have V-8 engines. I was wondering what the difference between the TA and the Formula is. Is the engine a less powerful V-8? If it matters, the 2000 Firebird Formula that I am looking at does have the WS-6 Ram Air Pkg.
