After the war, the Open Valley was left as neutral terrain, dividing the Light from the Dark. This is where horses from either side make come to relax or talk, fighting is not allowed in the Open Valley.

A big white stallion enters. He remember training here when he was much younger. He then gallops off, and runs through water. He trains for everything he might need in a battle. He rears up. Then comes down. Making deep imprints in the earth. He then goes over to a tree, and rests his head on it. For he is going to sleep here for a few nights to train. While relaxing about on the turf he catches a familiar scent and flash of color. Turning his head he gasps when he sees his twin brother. He rises to his hoofs in one fluid motion and gallops over. He tries to stay calm and when he sees the crescent shaped pendant he nods and grabs some smelling herbs. Putting the herbs, mainly mint and thyme under his nares hoping to revive him. Noticing rough spasms and intervals, Rage believes his brother is having a heart attack.* "Truth don't talk just lay still m'brother." He thinks of something that might help ease the pain and spasms too. He motions to his sister. "Don't leave his side." The stallion gallops like a flash looking for the ingredients. Picking up a wide mixture of plants he crushes them gently with his hoofs fusing them together into a grassy sort of mixture, but the effect will be like an aspirin. He takes the mix in his own mouth and gently drops tiny bits of it into his twin's mouth. (NT) -- Rage, 16:49:06 09/04/01 Tue Truth swallows the mixture best he can. The stallion lay still, only for the heaves of his sides. After a while the mixture seems to have reached its peak. The pain started to subside and the spasms start to regulate.* (NT) -- Truth, 16:51:44 09/04/01 Tue Rage smiles briefly and reaches down and lays by his brother's side. He lays his head protectively over his twin's back.* "Be still now m'brother." They both lay silently for now. She watches her brothers adoringly wishing their father was still around. You come with me now, as my prisoner, or I deal you fate upon one of your younger siblings. She grins menacingly. Defeated Faith rises and follows her dark cousin to Midnight Mountains. (NT) -- ~Min~, 08:40:37 09/08/01 Sat Dark copper stallion rears as he watches her go. He has to find away to get her home...he looks at his sister and nods. "Take care of Truth..." (NT) -- Rage, 08:51:28 09/08/01 Sat Silver stallion chuckles at the mare's helplessness. He nods to Min and eyes the other stallion. Pinning his ears he lashes out at him.* (NT) -- Ghost, 08:53:26 09/08/01 Sat Dapple stallion eyes the other silver stallion and notices the other stallion, Rage...his family... (NT) -- Illusion, 03:55:09 09/10/01 Mon Stallion winces but grits his teeth angrily. He sees Illusion in the darkness. He shouts to him. "My cousin watch out for our family!" He motions towards the fallen Truth and the protective mare... He retaliates with an earnest kick to the rib cage, pinning his ears angrily at the other stallion. (NT) -- Rage, 16:54:14 09/10/01 Mon
