Lois the feebleness of our human constitution is the weak spot that the Devil attacks.

Our physical nerve pathways can be used to subvert both our intelligence and our agency by the introduction of addictive chemicals. But the sad truth is that, the more intelligent a man is, the less substance is required for the addictive agent. A researcher can wreck a chimpanzee addicted to cocaine, but a human being with an IQ of over 140 can have his agency overthrown by nothing more than a falsehood.
