I know what you mean, Lois. We have TV's in some of our rooms at work. I came back from lunch Thursday, and just before 2pm, on NBC, was a soap opera that depicted two young men sneaking off the "make out." It was gross not so much because it was two men as it was that it depicted naked lust.

A coworker and I discussed it. She said that the media intended to normalize homosexuality in the minds of young people. I agreed. Anything one is exposed to day in and day out becomes "normal." For instance, years after my wife and I were divorced, my son told me that when my daughter, who is younger than he, first started school, one day they got off the bus, came home, and found my wife passed out on the floor in the entry way. My son said that my daughter was very frightened, but he reported that he told her, "Oh, she does this all the time." The then stepped over her and went into the house. That happenes so much during the day when I was at work that this was "normal" to him. That is the intent of all this -- normalization. You can use media and ardroit manipulation to normalize anything, even cannibalism.
