Yeah, Lois. I think anyone who posts here can remain anonymous if they choose to do so. However, if they are toadies of the leadership and trying to conceal it, we must of necessity find out their name to find out who they are.

It would be a lot easier if someone just said, "I'm posting here because I'm an evangelist in the CofC," or "I'm posting here because I'm a priest in the CofC," or "I'm posting here because I'm a homosexual elder in the CofC." Then names wouldn't be necessary. The name is merely a badge of identity. The indentity is underneath it, and that is what we need to know.

Of course, after reading the posts for a while, we could figure out who's signing the paychecks, and/or giving the promotions, but that's a lot of work, and (as I pointed out already) requires the discovery of the person's name in the process.

What if a news anchor were a high ranking member of a known political party. Shouldn't he disclose that?
