i do believe that there is a purpose to having lost most of my hearing... i may not know the reason, and don't need to know, but i trust God and know that these small inconveniences are nothing in the overall grand scheme of things! God has always blessed me so wonderfully and richly!

i consider you perfectly normal! we all do have little things that may not be perfect in man's view but God does not make junk. i sincerely believe that. we are all "fearfully and wonderfully made" and if God cares enough to know the count of the hairs on our heads... well, we are all very special!
