Lois, I had been trying to find a cross reference to Mosiah 3:17 (Pratt Versification)

The verse from the Book of Mormon says:

"And moreover, I say to you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come to the children of men, on in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent."

When you quoted one of the paid apostates stating that "Christianity's monopoly on salvation is over" (it having been superceded, apparently, by religions that already existed when Jesus was born, making his appearance moot,) and the comments stating that Acts 4:12 is a very bad verse to plan one's theology around, I found the crossreference.

Contrary to ridiculous belief statements, it is pretty obvious that no paid employee of the church above the rank of priest believes either the Bible or the Book of Mormon. I guess when the used bookstores are full of copies of the Book of Mormon, then Herald House won't be able to make much money even selling it as a souvenir of a Temple tour.

As I've said here before, it's far easier to believe that the Book of Mormon is true, than it is to believe that any priesthood member of any "Restored Church" has any authority should the book not be true.
