Lois, I know what you mean.

If you ask anyone in a position to know anything how many homosexual priests are in the priesthood, they will dodge the issue and speak of closeted homosexuals, saying, "We really don't know how many there are."

Of course, they know how many that they have deliberately and knowingly ordained, but they slide away from discussing that.

They I wonder if they know how many female priests they've ordained, and how many african-american priests they've ordained. Why the sudden ignorance about the homosexuals? If homosexuals are just another underserved minority, why are their statistics treated so differently?

Questions that need to be answered:

Who was the last member of the RLDS/CofC priesthood who was defrocked for committing sodomy (same or opposite sex)? When did this occur?

Who was the first avowed homosexual deliberatedly ordained by the hierarchy to the priesthood? (We all know who the first female priest was.)

On what date was the first same-sex-shacking up ceremony for a same-sex or opposite sex couple performed? What were the names of the happy couple? Who was the "denominational executive" in the hierarchy who authorized this ritual to be performed in the church?

Who was the RLDS priest to perform the first shacking up ceremony for a same-sex couple? Where? When?

When members of the general public make inquiry, are they informed that the CofC performs same-sex shacking up ceremonies and ordains avowed homosexuals? If so, when were members of the general public first informed of this? Was it the same date as the date these first began, or was it decades later?

Why has the CofC disavowed Joseph Smith, Jr. as its founder? Does it have anything to do with Joseph Smith, Jr. sexual orientation?
