Indeed.
When one gives in to the demand for "tolerance," that isn't enough. If something is "tolerated," it meaans that it does not have approval, but people put up with it. After tolerance comes the demand for approval. When approval arrives, provided by the weak-kneed and the uninformed, then promotion is demanded. Once promotion begins, those who previously cried "intolerance!" demand that those who initially did not tolerate them must not be tolerated. Unfortunately, since God said, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy," those who gave in to the homosexuals out of pity will receive mercy from God, and the homosexual activists demanding "justice!" will get justice -- because before the throne of God, those who have no mercy get none. As Tony Evans says, the other way to say, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will obtain mercy" is "Cursed are the merciless, for they will obtain no mercy."

It is no mystery why homosexuals attack Christianity. Although Hinduism and Islam disapprove of homosexuality, the homosexuals and atheists correctly perceive that it is Christianity upon which this country is based, and in order to wreck the country (with the intent of "rebuilding" it -- whether possible or not after such a disaster) one must first take out Christianity. I see no movement to infiltrate mosques to preach a "gay Mohammed."

When the Devil wants to pull something down, he goes around it and around it to find a place to stick a knife blade in to get some leverage. Homosexuality is perfect, because modern secularists see nothing wrong with it, but Christians are bound by their faith to disapprove of it, whether they tolerate it or not. That gives the accuser of our brethren something to rail about -- that Christians are "unChristian" because they believe what the Bible says.

And that is why the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is downplayed in the post-christian churches -- because "the blood of the Lamb" is how the Devil is overcome. Why would the Devil teach anybody how to overcome him?

George

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now has come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren has been cast down, who accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore, rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the Devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows he hs but a short time."

Revelation 12:9-12
