Yes, Lois. In the CofC's love affair with socialism, the church organization has begun to resemble an entrenched labor union of sorts. Just as Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. was up in arms inciting violence to the point that Fox News had to edit his remarks to conceal it, the ecclesiastical heirs of today's leaders will be just like them -- except worse. No difference in kind, just degree.

And their leaders may indeed by prophets. After all, Jimmy Hoffa, Sr. was "translated" off the earth in some way, just like Enoch the prophet, and as Ether supposed that he himself might eventually have been. If the current hierarchy follows its idea of the true path of the disciple, they may be similarly translated.

Every path simultaneously contains its own rewards, and its own punishment. The path that is rewarded by the world is punished by God, and the path that is rewarded by God is punished by the world. The consequences of getting on the wrong road are eternal, since the rewards offered by the world are fleeting, whereas the rewards offered by God are eternal. On the other hand, the punishment of the world is very temporary, but the punishment of God for the unrepentant worldly is eternal.
