The Robespierre Plan:

Step One: Tell people that anyone who vocally expresses reservations about the open practice of homosexuality is a homophobe.

Step Two: Tell people that Christians are evil homophobes.

Step Three: Sit back and let the mobs destroy the Christian churches, kill the Christians, and then the problem of smashing the country in order to rebuild it on purely human philosophy will be possible. The Christians who get frightened and cave in will prove useful to set up some sort of new "Christianity" that you control -- like the state church in 1980's Sandinista Nicaragua. Be sure to assign a legal definition to the term "Christian" to enable you to declare the real Christian churches outlaws.

Caveat: Never let the homosexuals know that you really don't care anything about them and might execute them if they get in the way later. The mobs you have stirred up might come after you if they find out that you have lied to them and crassly manipulated them for your own selfish ends. Keep telling them that your enemies are their enemies and keep them occupied destroying somebody else.
