Subject: c-not-of-c two facebooks

Interesting, interesting.

Not too long ago john called me a liar because I said that the c-not-of-c (legally but not morally Community of Christ) had no discussions on facebook. Then I found out that they have two facebook accounts, one for the public face and one not so public.

Here is their not-so-public
http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622

As of May 23, 2011 it seems that one must sign up to read it.

Here is their public face
http://www.facebook.com/CommunityofChrist.RLDSChurch

Notice that the public face(book) includes the initials RLDS. This seems to be the cleaned up version.

What do you suppose they are talking about on http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622 ???

Hidden information?

Orlando Community of Christ News, May 2004, Issue 6, page 1
“Listening Circles Introduced to the Congregation
On Sunday, May 16th, Pastor Andrea Henson, co-facilitated by Pat McKay, introduced the concept of Listening Circles to the congregation.
The World Church has requested that we form these circles in our congregation (6-10 people each) for the purpose of listening to each other in a safe, non threatening environment. Listening Circles are a tool that can be used to discuss any difficult issue. The World Church has requested that the issue of homosexuality in the Community of Christ be our first focus.”
