Of course, those promoting these schemes say "That's not what is going to happen," but they do not tell the truth any more than O.C. Henson did when he emphatically told Richard Price that the leadership had no intention of joining the NCC. In order to make it happen, you have to convince people that it cannot. If they believe it cannot, they will do nothing to prevent it.

One commentator explained recently that the attack on the WTC on 911 occurred because it "was unthinkable." Because no one thought that such a thing could happen, nothing was done to prevent it.

Just another warning. We can heed it or not. If we don't, then we will suffer the consequences, as we always do from neglect.
