I know what you mean, Lois.

But Hell was not designed to scare people into heaven. The purpose of Hell is so that there will be justice. If there is no Hell, then Stalin received no punishment for murdering 60 million people and died unrepentant of his atheism. There is no just God who would allow that.

We hear all the time about "the worth of souls." If there is no Hell, then God would value Stalin's soul above the 60 million that he killed. That kind of God is not loving, nor just.

Of course, since I mentioned Stalin as being evil, you know that I'm not a liberal. Liberals don't realize that Communists are just as evil as Nazis and Fascists. Liberals think that Communists are just misunderstood "wealth redistributors." They distribute more blood than wealth.
