Subject: About :Priests Being Judgmental -- from A. Bruce Lindgren

and it came about in response to the "dirty, filthy, nasty" little affair that jsii had with fanny alger...

John, this is what Mr. Lindgren said regarding priests coming to conclusions:

First, you should refrain from making harsh or hasty judgments. Circumstances may be present which are not a matter of public knowledge. You should assmue thast decisions are made with integrity and good intentions. You shoul dmake every efort to obtain the facts of the situation and to increase the general understanding of the circumstances.

John, tell me that my take on this isn't so:

My take is that you read that Emma saw Joseph and Fanny through the slates in the barn, and you were pretty disgusted, because you believed the story immediately. Even if you did not, I fail to see how your comments add understanding to the situation of Joseph and Fanny. If the allegation is true, what would be different about that situation and the situation of a CofC homosexual cheating on his wife in a barn? (or elsewhere?

George
