>Psalm 128
>A song of ascents.
>
>1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
> who walk in his ways.
>2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
> blessings and prosperity will be yours.
>3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
> within your house;
>your sons will be like olive shoots
> around your table.
>4 Thus is the man blessed
> who fears the LORD.
>5 May the LORD bless you from Zion
> all the days of your life;
>may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem,
> 6 and may you live to see your children's
>children.
> Peace be upon Israel.
>Psalms 128:1-6 (NIV)

>Isaiah 65:17-25

>
>17 “Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth,
>and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.
>18 Be glad; rejoice forever in my creation! And look!
>I will create Jerusalem as a place of happiness. Her
>people will be a source of joy.
>19 I will rejoice over Jerusalem and delight in my
>people. And the sound of weeping and crying
>will be heard in it no more.
>20 “No longer will babies die when only a few days
>old. No longer will adults die before they have lived
>a full life. No longer will people be considered old
>at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!
>21 In those days people will live in the houses they
>build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards.
>22 Unlike the past, invaders will not take their
>houses and confiscate their vineyards. For my people
>will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will
>have time to enjoy their hard-won gains.
>23 They will not work in vain, and their children will
>not be doomed to misfortune. For they are people
>blessed by the Lord, and their children, too, will be
>blessed.
>24 I will answer them before they even call to me.
>While they are still talking about their needs,
>I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
>25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together. The lion
>will eat hay like a cow. But the snakes will eat
>dust. In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed
>on my holy mountain. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
>Isaiah 65:17-25 (NLT)

>Romans 4:6-13

>6 So also David speaks of the blessedness of those to
>whom God reckons righteousness apart from works:
>7 "Blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven,
>and whose sins are covered;
>8 blessed is the one against whom the Lord will not
>reckon sin."
> 9 Is this blessedness, then, pronounced only on the
>circumcised, or also on the uncircumcised? We say,
>"Faith was reckoned to Abraham as righteousness." 10
>How then was it reckoned to him? Was it before or
>after he had been circumcised? It was not after, but
>before he was circumcised. 11 He received the sign of
>circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he
>had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The
>purpose was to make him the ancestor of all who
>believe without being circumcised and who thus have
>righteousness reckoned to them, 12 and likewise the
>ancestor of the circumcised who are not only
>circumcised but who also follow the example of the
>faith that our ancestor Abraham had before he was
>circumcised.
>God's Promise Realized through Faith
> 13 For the promise that he would inherit the
>world did not come to Abraham or to his descendants
>through the law but through the righteousness of faith
>Romans 4:6-13 (NRSV)

John doesn't really believe in the Bible verses he posts. If he did he would believe in these as well.

Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so; but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Isaiah 3:
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen; because their tongues and their doings have been against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
9 The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and doth declare their sin to be even as Sodom, they cannot hide it. Woe unto their souls! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
10 Say unto the righteous, that it is well with them; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe unto the wicked! for they shall perish; for the reward of their hands shall be upon them.

Romans 1:
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts; to dishonor their own bodies between themselves;
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature;
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly,
and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

We Share in Apostolic Witness
for the Sake of the World

By Ron D. Harmon Jr., Council of Twelve Apostles

Shortly after the 2005 World Conference I remember sharing with a small congregation: “If it all makes sense you are probably on the wrong track.” I shared this not from confusion about the gospel but a recognition that following Christ leads to significant disruption in one’s life.
