Thanks for the input, Lois. It's always nice to know that I'm not perfect.

It boggles the mind that the CofC thinks that it has successfully rewritten its entire history, Orwellian-style, to the point that nobody remembers anything at all about its history. I have the official history of the RLDS church. The history of the founding of the church begins over a decade before Joseph Smith III, (or "young Joseph") was even born, and before young Joseph's daddy (Joseph Smith, Jr.) ever even met young Joseph's mommy.

Absolutely mindboggling. How is it possible that the 114,000 people left on the CofC rolls stand for this? Do they not know about it, or are they suffering from some kind of cognitive disorder?

If this sort of thing becomes popular, I will soon be reading that Karl Marx was the founder of the United States of America, and that Jesus Christ was a homosexual.

Remember the saying, "Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so." I think a related proverb, given the CofC's disconnect from fact would be "Nothing is real or unrealy, but thinking makes it so."

George
