He got to his feet and glanced at Night Fire hoping for the same acceptance.....but the mare had not spoken since he had...He nodded an acceptance toward Sand Storm...and dashed in splashing her in mirth...hoping to make her laugh...to see more happiness in her eyes....~~~~*

~~~~~~~* The pond was huge so he swam to the middle...where his hooves could hardly touch the moistened sand that covered the bottom....his eyes gazed at Sand Storm waiting to see her reaction to the splash...and then turned to Night Fire, the love reflecting in his eyes as it did when he looked at Sand Storm....as he had promised...he let the love go no further than equal.....he did not favor.His eyes shined in a smile of hope as he glanced at the black mare....hoping for the same acceptance of love.~~~~~~*
