I have a 1997 Sea Rayder F16. It does the same thing. I think they all do it as a saftey precaution so it will go in circles in case the driver is knocked out. It seems to be more dangerous to have to try to keep it under control all the time though. It is really bad on deceleration. I have to turn all the way right and it sometimes still isn't enough. I have heard the early SeaDoo Challenger and/or Sportster did the same thing, but it was removeable. I wear my teather all the time in case of knock out. I would rather have the left turn removed. I found your post while looking for a way to do it.

Unfortunately I have found nothing, and looking at it from what I have experienced in my opinion it might be done by hull design. That may be why it gets worse the more boat that is in the water (deceleration, fully loaded, etc.). It also seems to slow the boat down, like there is extra drag on it, which would be consistant with the hull design. I hope I am wrong. Let me know if you find a fix, and I will do the same.

hello, i have a 1995 sea rayder f-16 and i had the same problem with my boat. is wasnt going fast enough so it wanted to do its own thing. it finally got warmed up and got it up on plane and it rode nice ,smooth , and fast on the water. had it going for bout 2 miles then the impeller went out. i hope this helps a little.
