I have had a similar problem with my 93 Sea Rayder. Most likely it is your ignition system that is causing you problems. It sounds as if you have replaced certain parts of the ignition system but you may need to replace the whole thing. The ignition system failing is a common problem in many of the jet boats made by Sea Rayder before 1996. Check to see if you are getting any spark, also does the boat not run at all or is it more temperamental (where it starts sometimes but not others)? Mercury released a new ignition kit this year addressing the problem. The entire kit runs around $700.00. I have known of 3 other people with similar issues and their jet boats ran fine after a new ignition system was installed. Feel free to contact me at syoung@simplyscs.com if you'd like.

You can buy a China made ignition parts for under $100 and rplace the present system, I did that two years ago and it runing fine...

Hey guys. I have had a jet boat for 5 years and never used it because there is always something breaking. Now it's my flywheel ignition.
