The spectre chortled roughly, swaying slightly. "Question me." Two bright eyes lit the bleak cave with an eerie, glowing light. The eyes seemed to be filled with intelligent malice, shrewdness, fear of nothing. The figure spoke again, this time with a distinct clever tone. "My name? Axe." This voice was mostly male, though the body's gender was indistinct. He went on, in the same monotonous, grating voice. "I am a mere servant of the one greater power, who is indeed my master."
Axe broke into a violent rant, though it was one in a different language. "Pardon." He made no attempt to explain the outburst and simply stared with glazed, unseeing eyes at Storm.
Adam had stayed unmoving through all of this, barely even attempting to blink. He could only stare at Axe staring at Storm, hate filling his features.
Adam thought, though, thought ferociously.
Why is this happening? Why now? Why?! He just hoped that Storm would realize how extremely dangerous Axe could be.
As Axe stood motionless, Adam tried to sigh. This would take forever unless Storm figured out how to deal with the apparition.
