At some point we'd better be able to score inside. As any basketball fan knows, having an inside game frees up outside shooters.

The player that intrigues me most is Hill. Sutton is the key recruit but Hill, playing for an outstanding Texas high school team, is unknown by those of us who think that NYC/NJ basketball is all there is. At the very least, Sutton, Bacon, Hill etc. give JD a potentially outstanding rotation up front.

Sludge is correct about rebounding and defense. The kids have been continuing to work out intensely in strenghtening and conditioning. It shows in their appearance. While it's true that we don't have a wealth of shooters, scoring comes in many different ways.Last year, we had two, three if you count Leon, of the potentially better shooters in the league and it did nothing. Defense, rebounding, an interior game, and running the floor are all different ways of generating offense. How the staff puts together those offensive and defensive schemes that Peacock talks about will also be of interest to me.

Finally, congratulations to the staff on their recruiting efforts. As several have pointed out, no staff works harder.
